CocoCoast has officially added its Mango Coconut Water to the permanent range, following a quiet release that quickly gathered momentum across multiple markets.
Initially introduced as a limited-edition flavour, Mango was launched without major fanfare—no national campaign, no heavy advertising. Instead, the product was placed into circulation to observe how it would perform organically. The response was immediate.
“Mango had a quiet launch, and that was intentional,” said Janelle Russell, Head of Brand at CocoCoast. “We’ve always trusted that if the product is good enough, it will find its way. We didn’t need to overstate it—we just needed people to try it.”
With no artificial push behind it, Mango Coconut Water was picked up quickly by existing customers and new trial buyers alike. Feedback highlighted the clean, naturally sweet profile and the smooth finish CocoCoast is known for. Retailers noted consistent velocity, with early sell-through rates prompting repeat orders.
The flavour itself is consistent with the brand’s approach: young green coconut water blended with real fruit extract, no added sugar, no preservatives, and packaged in 100% recyclable BPA-free aluminium cans. It’s a straightforward product with a clear purpose—refreshment without compromise.
While initially planned as a short-run seasonal variant, the uptake across both Australia and New Zealand made the decision to keep it in the range clear-cut.
“It did exactly what we needed it to do,” said Damian Russell, Director of CocoCoast. “Sometimes, the best validation is when a product speaks for itself.”
Mango now joins CocoCoast’s growing range of flavour-led coconut waters, available through select independent retailers, with further distribution planned globally over the coming months.
